      Question Freaked

I have had one controlled dream. Which means i did not freak out, or wake up immediatey after one of my DC characters attacked me. But how do i do this more? How can i not ruin my dream, or really understand what is going on in my dream?
Before, i had this freaky, freaky dream where everyone was against me. I knew i was dreaming, but i still couldn't do anything. how can i stop this from happening?

      Hi there!

Few things you might want to keep in mind, keep relaxed, even in your dream. Try not to control, do every day life things in your dream, if people are attacking you, use real life fighting technique to defend yourself. How experienced are you in violence and fighting and all that, and how confident are you in it altogether? Because if you're worried they're going to swallow you, you're going to get swallowed up. So some advice would be to, in the style of back in school, look up and fight the bullies head on.

Do not hesitate to just smack them one and just not stop. Honestly, I've always been crap scared of fighting people, but in a normal regular dream once I jumped out the window and beat the hell out of someone with a brick and made him bleed and scream in pain. Now, I wasn't even lucid.

Also, I know what you're going through, something goes wrong for me in Lucid Dreams too. To be honest I don't know how to get out of this, I think it's just all about experience, skill, and knowledge.

Don't worry, you'll get through your problems. Welcome to the forum! We're a nice community and sure will help you through your journey to Lucidity. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, no matter how silly they may be!

The best way to handle a scary situation, is to know you don't actually have to do anything at all, except lose your fear. As soon as you stop being afraid the situation stops being scary right? Remember you emotions play a large part in what happens in your dreams.

I'm sure your Lucids will get longer as you practice. Try not to think about waking up either.

A couple months back we had a task of the month to prove that your indestructible in a dream. I suggested this task so that people could learn that they have no need to fear anything in their dreams.

I suggest you practice letting things happen to you. Like one of my favorites, walk head on into oncoming cars on a freeway. Once you become familiar with the fact that nothing can harm you. The moment you become Lucid you will no longer be afraid.

So, when you find yourself in a situation where your about to be attacked by a mob. You can just laugh and say do your best. It's pretty funny seeing the expressions on DC's faces when they learn the truth of it.

Once you have learned to overcome this fear, it can be interesting to ask them why they want to hurt you in the first place.

I once became Lucid while facing an attacking bull. I told it that I loved it, and asked it why it wanted to hurt me so bad. The results were pretty humorous.

for some reason, the only way I can really describe how to handle dream situations to people is... The Matrix

Think of the matrix (sounds cheesy i know but I'll explain)

Like.. When Neo first finds out what the matrix is, they begin training him, and they load up "The Jump Program"... Neo seems frightened to jump across the huge gap between the buildings, he then backs up and jumps, and fails horribly. But when morpheus did it, he didnt even think twice he was just like "lol come on =]" and jumped and made it

Also Neo seemed scared to fight agents, always running from them which resulted in having to pick up the phone and wake up essentially, but once he stayed to fight and lost his fears, he could finish off those agents and remain in the matrix essentially until he felt like leaving, due to the fact that he no longer had to run from anyone/anything

So.. yeah.. um.. think of the matrix -.^

Thats all I can really say to help that situation, sorry =[
