      A new natural

I feel kind of arrogant calling myself a natural, but I seem to fit the definition. I've always been able to lucid dream. I can do it from being awake, and I can do it while I'm asleep. For a long time I didn't know that I was doing something special until my college roommate (a psych student) told me what I was doing. I remember being in first grade, and entering a lucid dream at my desk when I got bored. I'd just relax until I got a floating sensation, and everything else seemed to fall away. Usually I never got far because something would snap me out of it.

Usually I just go with the flow in my dreams until I don't like where things are going. Then I try to make an in dream decision that changes it. I only wake myself up as a last resort.

      Welcome to DV!

Wow, you can pretty much do WILDs at will without even having been taught how. That's quite impressive.

I hope you will share your experiences around the forum!

      also a natural

I have experienced lucid dreaming all my life not realising that not everybody could do the same. I can honestly say that I don't always enjoy it and quite often wake up feeling as though I have had no sleep whatsoever. I also find that quite often I am between dreaming and sleep and seem to go into the dream state very quickly. I sometimes think I would prefer to sleep normal but then find that if i am having a pleasant dream it is nice to be able control it and make it last longer.

I guess that would make me one too

I've always loved having lucid dreams. I've been having them since I was like twelve and I got better and better at it over time. I also almost always remember three or more dreams per night even if they haven't been lucid. Its so cool I've stubled upon this website.

oh wait.. what I was trying to say was... I never feel like I haven't slept or something, If I've had a particularly good (lucid) dream, I feel more refreshed and up for anything when I wake up.

All you naturals are making me jealous . Maybe we can figure out what you have in common, and expose your secret tricks.

consider starting up an online Dream Journal so we can all spy on your fun adventures.

Already done. I might even throw in some of my dreams that I remember from childhood.
