      Falling

      Hi Im new at luciding and I tried the wild technique yesterday but after doing everything I just felt like I was falling and then everything was normal 2 sec later I was falling and it kept going until I stoped and whent back to sleep

      Can someone explain what I did wrong?

      You most likely lost concenration, even a small sound can ruin it.

      Falling is often a feeling that accompanies sleep paralysis. Sounds like you were getting there. WILD is a very difficult technique, so don't feel bad if you can't get it very quickly. Most people don't WILD.

      It sounds like you were on your way to a successful WILD. I often get strange rushing, falling, or sliding sensations. My advice would be to try and enjoy each sensation calmly. They should lead to something new a few seconds later.

      If you get too excited and snap out of the trance, just relax again. You should quickly find yourself where you left off. Don't get frustrated with WILD. You're training your brain to enter a state it is not very familiar with. It takes a lot of practice, and even failed attempts can be a fun ride.
