      Hi, I'm Lenneth, I fly!

      Hellot there users of dv.

My name (ar at least on the net) is Lenneth! I'm a 19 years old girl, from a far far farfar far away country.
The thing is I got to thjis site after some reasearch about Lucid Dreams for a particular reason.

      I keep having them!
They started when I was having nightmares. Or I was about to die in my dream. I would say "this is too bad to be real! this HAS got to be a dream", then I would check myself, and my surroundings and I just knew I was dreaming. Which was pretty cool cause I could wake up whenever I wanted with some concentration, or just do something really cool to get rid of the nightmare (magic, super strenght, weapons, sealing the god forsaken creature... whatever comes to your mind it came to mine).
It also happened once or twice when I was having an extremly good dream. I realised that was impossible,or that something was not right there and then I knew I was dreaming.
And it happenes frequently that I have no clues to tell a dream is dream but I just know, and do you know what I do when I know?
      I - start - flying.

      Period!

I say "hey! I'm dreaming, so why not flying?". And it always feels pretty well.
Although I know it's extremly childish!

I don't think it's something rare, but you're the experts.

could anyone give me an opinion of why I have lucid dreams so frequently?
is it mere luck or I'm really f***ed up? hahaha

      Welcome

You keep having lucid dreams because its likely that your a natural, I wish I was. I can't fly at all, I try but I don't get far....

Apparently having frequent lucids naturally isn't all that uncommon. And I've seen quite a few people say that they started becoming lucid because of nightmares, just like you.

      flight

Lucid dreams come easily to some people; flight seems to come easily to me, not that I actually consider it flying. It is actually more like controlled jumps, bounces and slides along walls, roofs and the like. These dreams are always particularly enjoyable!

The fastest I've ever been moving in a dream was not during flight, it was while I was some kind of 'werewolf' and was running on all fours exceptionally quickly.

I digress, if lucid dreams are your specialty, live it up! I am envious

We have a ton of international members, so your country may not be that far away

You're very lucky to have natural spontaneous lucids. I bet we can learn a few tips from you. Do you keep a dream journal? You can always start one online to share some of your best dreams.

I always fly too. Strange that humans have such a universal desire to fly. Maybe we're all really descended from birds, not apes. Wouldn't that be something?

childish? nah, everyone here flies! when they can at least

and people who can lucid dream very easily or all the time are usually referred to as "naturals" here on the forum. there are more of them than you would expect, and we're all jealous of them

I though we lucid dream so we could do childish things.

That reminds me when I first realized that I'm dreaming and when I started changing things willingly. I was talking to someone in my dream and then the scenery changed, like watching someone talking on tv and in the next moment feeling how that person is speaking, the mouth movement, everything can be felt and then I realized that it is me who makes this person speaking. So I started talking rubbish just to prove I'm right. It was fun and pretty displaced at that moment.

LOL... that was exactly what I did once, I cheated my way through the dream. But it was not that fun as expected.

I learned then that it is better to not interfere with your dreams.
      Just let them happen.

Full conscious dreaming will happen in it's highest quality some time before waking up in the morning. The sunlight and the alarm clock are its enemies.
If you have the chance, set your sleep cycle so that you would have enough sleep some hour before the darn alarm clock kicks into your sleep and pulls you out into something unpleasant.

driving the dreams the way you like is balancing between falling asleep thus unconscience and waking up.

However "letting go" does the magic and not grabbing onto the dream.

Flying is cool, but there are better things to do

If you're fucked up, then we're two now, for sure.
And at least two is enough to not to feel the only one...

      Enjoy it as it lasts
