hey everyone,
i guess you could say that im new to the whole lucid dreaming thing, though ive been trying for a few months, (not always diligently haha)
not too long ago, i had been "trying" to have a lucid dream, consistently every night, though i wasnt keeping a dream journal or anything. then one day i just came home from school, and plopped down on my bed to take a nap. then bam, i had one. i became lucid for the first time, and i dunno how i did it, i just realized i was dreaming and went from there. i tried different things i had read about. such as looking at a clock and looking back to see if the time had changed. and i tried things that i hadnt read about. such as looking out my bedroom windown, looking away and looking back to find that the light color and or time of day had changed. i also wandered around my house (which was where most of the dream was) but during the dream i thought to myself, "i just got home from school, i dont want to waist the day sleeping" so i woke myself up (really interesting concept to me

) which i now regret. completely stupid mistake. since then, the only incident with lucid dreams that i have had, were once, when i briefly realized i was dreaming a few nights ago, as i watched someone trip and wrap around a light pole. i would like to have another one as detailed as the one i had before. i was asleep for about 30 minutes, and the dream itself felt about 15.
can anyone help me in being able to have more?
