Hey all , i'm from Belgium. And i've always bin interested in dreams. I heard my friends talk about it , long vivid dreams. Not lucid tho. This brings me to my first point/question: I almost never remember my dreams , and when I do it are short not vivid and i'm not aware of anything. |

Another possibility is of why some people sleep deeper than other is that you aren't actually going any deeper than us light sleepers, you're mind just disconnects more from your real body. In my sleep I can pretty much hear everything that's going on around me, because my ears stay well connected to my brain, maybe yours just disconnects much more. |

I'm not sure about the deep sleeping. Besides tricks like leaving the light on or leaving music playing, I don't know any permanent solutions. Try experimenting with a few things, and let us know what you come up with. |

Definitely! I forgot about that one. I've been waking up on my own because of sleeping troubles, but if I tell myself before bed that I will recall my dreams, I'm able to roll over (after turning on my low lantern light) and jot down what I remember before going back to sleep. If I don't remember at that time (because I'm to sleepy to think), I'm usually able to remember enough when I officially wake up. |

Exploring the world through Dreams.
Thx for the reply's everyone , I actually am writing my short dreams down. I have bin having more (short) dreams. Which is quite nice. I have bin telling myself every night right before sleep ' i want to remember my dreams ' or ' i want to wake up right after the dream ' or something like that. Any more tips I can try or do? Because sleep was always boring , I had so many night ( probably 95% ) when I fall asleep next thing I know its morning and I need to wake up. And I started thinking , you sleep probably 30% or more of your life. So why wouldn't you want to be able to control your dreams? I think its like some kind of virtual reality where you can do anything so I really wanna learn it :p |
