      Question LucidDream Beliver.

hello everyone! im jack, new to this site but know about lucid dreaming and its fun related prospects lets say. i first had some lucidity in a dream about a year ago i was flying over a green field (think i picked up on this from a scene in Smallville: Superman the early years) when i relaised i was dreaming i suddenly got the feeling u get when ur falling in a dream, that deep in your stomach feeling, but was still flying. i could feel the wind in my hair and the sheer height i was at, it was a brilliant expeiance and very addictive.
Anywho since then i been keping a dream journal and trying all the techniques that i read about, eating certain things before i go to bed etc etc. but i seam to be having less knowledge of me dreams, in the morning they are much more blurred and i akwake with a feling of almost despiation and feer i wont do it, that or i fall asleep without thinking of dreams.
i try to keep myself deam orientated in the day time, doing RC's, but i seam to be further away from lucid dreaming than ever! i know anxiety and fustration can kill lucid dreams and im trying to keep a level head and be calm but there is only so much one man can take!! lol
p.s i smoke cannabis a fair bit an when i get home to go to bed its a case of shutting my eyes then i pass out, would this affect dreams? even later on in my sleep when i have fallen in to a deep sleep? or is falling asleep naturally this best way.
this one time i had a great experiance i dint even know what it was at the time but me and few mates were chilling and smoking at a mates house then we all went to sleep. anywho i woke up and decied to have a quick bong (lol) then laye back down all within about 5 mins, within anouther 5 mins i was basically watching tv in the back of my eyelids, i never seen such imagery, it was like someone was downloading infomation to my head it was great, i jut sat back and enjoyed, no dream came of this though. later i found out i was probally having some kind of wild. funn.
anywho sorry to ramble on, once my fingers get typing there is no stopping them.
sorry about gramma and punctuation aswell!
hope some people reply, share your views.

Dream Views is a great place to look for all kinds of help with lucidity and dreams in general.

From what I understand smoking a lot of cammabis can be really bad for your dream recall and chances for a lucid dream. So, as long as you smoke a lot you can expect to have crappy recall and little to no LDs.

If you are serious about persuing LDs now your best bet is to not smoke or to not smoke often. Otherwise all your efforts to LD are going to be fairly pointless.

However, when it comes to going to bed at different times I believe it is still very possible to LD. Just try to make sure you get enough sleep, even if it isn't at the same time every night. Naps during the day to catch up on missed sleep have the added benifit of being a great chance to try out some lucidity techniques.
