I know exactly what you mean. I thought my first lucid dreams were just me DREAMING about lucidity. |

So I think I may have had my first lucid dream last night, realised by checking time on phone about 8 times (it seemed so real so it was hard to convince myself it was a dream, only done a check as Morgan Freeman said something really creepy to me), I flew, I'm guessing nearly everyone does this their first time haha, for about 3 seconds I felt the same way as I do when I jump of bridges and stuff. But then I woke up (or so I thought), looked at my iPod which was still playing some random static, Slipknot was playing (umm ok, I don't even have slipknot). That's the only reason I now realise that I didn't wake up for real |

It sounds like you were lucid to me. It is such a strange state of mind, I think it is hard to remember how you felt. Combine that with the difficulty of remembering your dreams, and you end up trying to convince yourself you couldn't have been lucid. I know that's what I do. I can always remember the feeling of the lucidity clearly when I first wake up, but then it slips away along with the dream. |

Well that's interesting. Thanks for the replys. |
