Lightbulb What should your eyes focus on when trying to LD?

I often myself looking through my eyelids by accident, which makes me lose focus, or having them twitch, which does the same.

What should I be looking at, or have my eyes focused on when trying to move into the SP for a LD?

You're over thinking this. It will only distract you. Just look at whatever's most convenient or let your eyes do whatever they want. Try to avoid stressing about what your eyes are doing. Maybe try some visualizations so that you are looking at something in your mind?

Try lookig up at an imaginary dot between your eyebrows ( if you are in sp) or wiggle your eyes back and forth.

Ok, so if I let my eyes twitch, or accidently let them open, its ok? It's ok to let your eyes open if it's natural?

If i try to relax my eyes muscles, they open.

So it's perfectly fine to keep the muscles tensed, so my eyes will keep shut?

I have to know the facts before I get on the bed, or that's where it will mess me up.

It is harder to open ones eyes if one looks upward (this is sometimes used in hypnosis).

You'll have to experiment with what's right for you, but you needn't be so rigid. If your eyes really feel like they can't resist opening then let them open and close them again. In fact there is a trance WILDing method that someone posted that involves reverse blinking.

Dude i usually find myself looking through my eyelids as i am going to sleep but i just find something else to think of like breathing.

And again, you have to relax about the whole "lucid dreaming" scene =P

Sometimes a sleep mask really helps.
