Lightbulb This may be of some help

For all of those of you who are new to this site, welcome!

Some of you may have had lucid dreams and want to know more, or someone who is new to the whole concept.

I will give you one tip that will really help:

Concentration, but learning to concentrate in the waking life as it were.

I have found even after a week, of just 20 minute sessions of concentration on one thing a day really helps with lucid dreaming.

      Excercise 1:

Grab a pen and paper. Draw two large cirles about 10cm apart, then directly inbetween them, draw a somewhat smaller circle, and fill it in. Now get a watch, and on a seperate piece of paper mark the time, now stare at this dark circle, and just focus on that, dont think about it, dont let you mind wander, just concentrate on that point.

If done correctly, 15 minutes will have passed and it will have felt like no time at all.

If you break concentration however, mark down the time, and see how long you have gone for.

Do this everyday with out fail, and concentrating in the dream world is a piece of piss!!!

      Gav

Do the three circles represent something? Do they work especially well with your vision, somehow?

I used to do a similar meditation, and I found it very helpful. I am still looking for a good object to focus on. I'll try your circles.
