      half WILD?

so last night when i went to bed i was laying there concentrating on pretty much falling asleep but staying conscious, this was my first attempt ever to try to WILD i don't really know if it was a WILD but it was pretty weird and figured i'd share it:

as soon as i went to bed last night as i said earlier i was trying to concentrate on keeping my conscience while i fell asleep, the next thing i know i hear nothing around me anymore (i have a fan on all the time) and i see like a 1 inch wide vertical line that's filled with black blocking out the sides going from side to side and there's a piece of paper it's looking at all the while i was still conscious and i knew i was dreaming and right then i twitched and woke back up lol, so was this a WILD or no? it didn't last long at all, maybe 10 seconds before i twitched

i attached an image of what i saw, sorta, except the paper had writing on it and the line moved side to side.

Weird. It sounds like you were really close. Those hypnagogic hallucinations can be so wacky. Whatever you did, it seems to have worked. Try doing the same thing again.
