      My first LD :)

I learned about lucid dreaming in spring and have been researching it ever since. I just had my first one the other night, so I thought I'd commemorate the occasion on the website where i learned most of what i know. (I don't know if you guys noticed, but this is by far the best website for LD info on the web.) umm, i guess i might talk about it more later but i'm gonna be late for batman in imax!
      later folks.

Yay for Batman Dreamviews! Congratulations on your first lucid dream. It seems that you've been a member since March. What a lurker! Good to see you've come out of your shell!

Be sure to tell us about your lucid dream when you get back. Or tell us about The Dark Night. Whatever works. Anyway, welcome to the forums!

I think he'd better talk about his dream when he gets back because he wouldn't want to spoil the movie for anyone. I've seen it and it is an amazing movie (A- by the critics and four and a half stars). Anyway congratulations on ur first lucid dream! I was wondering though, you said uv been researching this since spring.....have u been attempting to lucid dream since then or have u just now decided to give it a try. If you have been attempting since spring then I am impressed by your perseverence! Hopefully you will master lucid dreaming soon and then you can even relive batman in your dreams...although it may be sorts leaning towards a nightmare if it plays along the lines of the movie.

heheh yeah. I made an account meaning to ask questions about stuff just before i went on a vacation and totally forgot about my account. then i got an e-mail a little while ago that said i had been inactive for awhile. oh well.

onto my dream: i don't remember too much (probably because i've been really irresponsible about journaling and still have fairly bad dream recall) but i do remember a couple of things. I realised i was dreaming when i was standing in a crowd of people (i must've been dreaming about the popped music festival in philly) and saw two absurdly fat men run into eachother at top speed. it occured to me "wait, that doesn't happen in real life" so i started counting my fingers and got to 12 before i stopped counting.

the first thing i remember doing after becoming lucid was try to fly. i heard somewhere that the best way to start was to jump repeatedly, trying to jump higher and higher each time until you're flying, so i tried that. I discovered i was able to jump absurdly high, but i never actually started flying, each time i landed, but i was satisfied with this. so i proceeded to jump between buildings and to the tops of scyscrapers. I have vague memories of other things including a mangy fox, but i've forgotten the rest. I didn't wake up during the dream, which could be where the problem lies. oh well.

and batman in imax was awesome
