Hello Animus. Because of the way I precieved lucid dreaming previously, most of my lucid dreams were me trying to use my physical body in lucid state...usually I am standing in a room somewhere and I either can't move, or I start tipping around like a drunkard. It is although my feet could drag along the floor in any direction...then, due to lack of control (which is funny that I don't realize I have complete control) I usually spiral in or out of the dream.. What I mean is that my body will become parallel to the floor and start spinning in a spiraling direction either up towards the celing or sink through the floor...then I wake. I had one experience where I was in a place I call "the corridor" it has so far just been darkness with the awareness that I am about to dream. From here I an choose anything. The only time I made it here I got so excited I chose the first thing that came into my head and ran with it, afraid I might wake up. I chose to fly. I started seeing a red blob that I convinced myself was a cloud, which then actually did turn into a cloud and then clouds were everywhere. I hit some kind of membrane or something becuase all of the sudden I popped into the most real experience I've ever had. I was flying in the air towards the sun, over the coast on the most beautiful day ever. I was completely elated...I lost control when I started floating higher and higher and needed to develop a technique to bring myself down. I was afraid going higher meant I would wake up (like in my other lucids). I created a hand gesture which I decided would bring my down....and it did! ....although it brought me all the way down to the ground and my dream conciousness shifted and I entered into an out of my control dream which was steeped in some great meaning I only grasped for a few moments after waking.
What usually throws me off is fear and triggers. Triggers keep me from grasping awareness and fear wakes me up.
