Welcome, I'm new to this aswell (although I've had about 5 or 6 LDs so far) and this is a great community for the subject at hand. First step is to read the articles on the main site and then read some tutorials. If you get really into it (like I did, I got really excited about it when I first heard about LDs and found this site) you might have your first LD soon. I believe its something called Dream Residue where bits of your day creep into your dream so if your day heavily features thinking about LDs that might become part of your dream and, voila, you find yourself lucid. |

Thanks for the response, I have been reading so many topic's this morning and I'm so anxious to start learning. Been browsing around since about 2am.. This community does seem really great, and it's especially entertaining to read others experiences |

Hi there and welcome, i'm another seeker, i've had several borederline experiences and some full blown ones in childhood. Do you have any memories of your dreams/nightmares when you was younger as alot of people seem to remember things pointing to it. Anyway good luck in your quest for lucidity |

I can only recall one past experience, which was about a year ago. I don't remember the dream itself, but only that i felt a very strong presence watching me, It was such a strong feeling I awoke from my sleep and couldn't really move. I quickly turned my head and focused my attention towards the other side of the room, at the same time my monitor came on, as if someone moved the mouse to make it come out of standby mode. |
