I was really tired the other night but for some reason I couldnt sleep at all, so I tried to relax and do visualization exercises untill falling asleep and maybe having a WILD, after an hour of trying, I felt that I could try to raise myself from bed in a dream. I had a false awakening and I just knew I was dreaming. In order to be sure I looked at my alarm clock to do a reality check. |

The noises sound like like hypnagogic imagery to me. Ive had similar experiences, there nothing to worry about sometimes they help you to get into a lucid dream The forcd could be sleep paralyis, sounds serious but really is not its a little freaky the first time but again theres nothing to worry about. Its just that when your dreaming your body is frozen for safety. |

There's a very similar thread that talks about this sort of thing in a bit more detail; http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=64194 |

Body Clock Experiment...
Could be your brain panicking because it didn't understand how you could go directly from being awake to being in a dream. Common in your first WILDs. If you've don't a few WILDs before, then yeah, it could have just been SP. |

Yep, either what Ninja said or auditory hallucinations from SP; but I dont see how you were affected by SP while you were already in the dream. Interesting. |
|
If your body got uncomfortable, it will break SP temporarily to jerk you into a better position. You should stay asleep though, that's how you can feel SP while still dreaming. |

Thank you all for your advice, I think ninja is right because I've never had SP problems before, and I was indeed atempting my first WILD. |

SP can often be scary, I've had terrible SP experiences, but remember that SP is something normal and we have it every time we go to sleep. |
