      new...

Today i slept from about 4am to 6pm. around 3pm or so i started waking up and going back to sleep, not wanting to get up. around 6pm i was suddenly at my grandmothers house and knew for a fact i was dreaming. this happened once before that i remember a few years ago, but i wasn't sure that time that i was lucid until i wole up. this time i knew for sure right away. i started running up the road, and got sidetracked thinking of something (can't remember what) and was back at the house. i started running up the road again and withing seconds was at a store over a mile away. after that it kinda runs together with a school bus and some teens my age. after i woke up i decided to check the internet about controled dreams, and found this site. from what i have read i am sure it was a lucid dream, and now i am wondering how i can have more lucid dreams, or if anyone else has had lucid dreams without trying. any help would be great.

      forgot

i just remembered how i woke up. i realized in the dream i had saliva on my face, and when i wiped my face, it was in real life, not the dream and then i was awake.

This sounds like you did an accidental DEILD. The tut for DEILD is right here. DEILD is one of my favorite techniques. Congrats!

cool thanks. one more question, are people who have accidental lucid dreams any more likely to have more success at doing it on purpose?
