Been keeping a dream log, but my recall doesn't seem to be improving...

Since my last topic about a month ago I've taken some advice and started recording a dream log, I have 8 small entries, basically 3 or 4 lines of "keywords" which, when I read them later, brings back all of my memory of the dream.

My last dream was very easy to remember, more than the last ones but I fear it may be just a fluke/one time thing.

I haven't tried to LD yet, because I've been wanting to practice dream recall and get good at it, then start thinking about "reality checks" becasue I tried them before but it's apparent they wont work for me unless I really "monitor" my dreams for similar occurrences.

Is their any more advice someone could share with me? because I feel kind of stuck.

I'm doing the same atm, just improving recall before attempting serious LD...

But last night I tried something and well, this morning I could recall 5 dreams! :O
      Insane!

Basically it was this self hypnosis thang, there's a tutorial for it somewhere and It really worked (or seems to anyway)
So if you wanna give that a shot and see how it works for you ;D
This is like day 3 of my "dream journey" and i could usually recall 2dreams a night but this morning, I was amazed!

Give it a shot if it takes your fancy!
Wow, I'm new to this but i knew abouts lucid dreams before...
But there's so much more to it than I thought!

      LD's: 1 (I think)

Try using auto suggestion, tell yourself you will remember your dreams, say this to yourself 4 times before you fall asleep

I agree that autosuggestion as you're falling asleep works best. Really be clear when you tell yourself that you will remember all your dreams.

Also try to set your intention to wake up after every REM cycle to record your last dream. If you really want vivid recall, it is best to remember ever dream right after it happens. This means waking up in the middle of the night to write down notes.

When you wake up (no matter what time of night it is) lay still for a few seconds with your eyes closed while you try to remember what just happened.
