how long have you been trying? it can take you a loooong time (maybe a year). well the best way for beginners is to do reallity checks whenever you can and to do DILDS, but if you wanna be assured to have a LD, you should train WILDing, or a subgroub of WILDing wich i prefer: DEILD

Keep trying it took me about a month to have my first lucid dream but it can take a lot longer. You said you have tried various methods, perhaps you should persist with one particular method for a while, before moving on to other methods, some methods will suit you more than others it took me ages to have my first DILD but I had a WBTB on my first attempt.Keep up the good work and good luck.
