Lucid dreams since I was little

Hey guys I am new to this site, my name is Adriano Velasquez and I have been having lucid dreams as far back as I can remember. I can even recall a lucid dream I had when I was in second grade in great detail (I am 19 years old now). I never knew anything about lucid dreams until I told a buddy of mine that I have dreams all the time when I can control them and do whatever I wanted, he told me that I was having lucid dreams so I decided to look it up on the internet. I have recently started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about a month now, since then I have been having lucid dreams almost every night about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Jiu-Jitsu

I am just wondering is this normal to have them so frequently? Sometimes I when I realize I am having a lucid dream my mind starts to wake up when this happens it is followed by me falling asleep again and having another lucid dream then waking up and repeating this process a few times.

      -Adriano

Not until lately its been single every night and I think its because of my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes which I really enjoy but before that as long as I could recall a dream I would just ask myself "what did I do in my dream again?". The days that I would not have a lucid dream would just be a regular dream.

Oh by the way does anyone know what it means when you dream about breathing underwater? Ive had dreams about breathing underwater and everything around me was crystal clear sometimes in a pool or in the ocean.

First, Welcome to Dreamviews! Yea, you are a natural. There are quite a few of you out there, but not alot. Concider your self lucky. But trust me, you can learn alot here, and your lucid dreams can be alot clearer, more vivid, and controled. Great to have you on board, and hope to see you around here!

      Welcome!

I'm a natural, too. Having lucid dreams every night is pretty normal for a natural. I know one who never has a non-lucid dream! Like others have said I'm sure you can learn a lot here. I know I sure have! I used to have about 1-3 LDs per week, but now I have many, many more. I've also learned better dream control and am having a lot more fun in my dreams.

I'm a blue belt in Brazilian ju jitsu. (Don't feel cocky, I'm also a 3rd dan in karate ) Fighting in dreams is so much fun, and you can go as hard as you'd like and not worry about hurting / killing someone

That sounds kick ass, Ninja! Especially, like Dragon Ball Z style! I am a black belt in Taekwondo, but it was a few years ago... But I think I'll start praticing, again... And like Seeker28 said, you will have no problem having LDs soon! Good luck!
