I don't know if this was answered already somewhere in the forums, but I'll take a chance and ask it. It's said that you sort of "wake up" inside the dream when you're lucid. I'm wondering how you would experience it. When you wake up, do you look back at it as something that just happened, or do you enjoy it only as a blurry movie that you remember watching yourself in? To put it another way, is being lucid something you feel and experience as real-life (except for in a dream) or is it something you can only look back on when you wake up, like a fantasy movie? |

thats right. when i become lucid in dreams, everything brightens up or become clearer... it is so not like a vague memory but a panorama thats more magical than real life. |

My lucid dreams usually happen as a result of a false awakening, where I think I have woken up but am really dreaming and completely lucid. In some instances the lucid dream was soooo incredibly realistic or "hyper-real" that I just stood there in absolute amazement. Not all lucids are like that though...sometimes you know you are dreaming but it is still a little blurry and you can't control anything. Other times you have total control or hyper-real dreams although some lds are so realistic that it is hard to get past our mind blocks and change things (as in the matrix)...the people on this forum are extremely helpful at offerring techniques to become lucid and increase the intensity of the lucids. Definitely worth giving it a shot...good luck. |

Well, the good lucid dreams you view as if it were real life, the crappier ones are more like a "memory" or whatever... |

well, when i first realised i was dreaming (intentionally) i was just so glad because it was such a terrible situation... but its really easy to forget that its not real... just focus and everything becomes so real - cant exlplain! |
