      Hi everybody!

Hi, after seeing someone talk about lucid dreaming on another forum I got curious so I done a bit of research and all I can say is... Wow... Just... Wow.

I have actually had a few lucid dreams recently without knowing it, I was on the edge of a cliff and I dropped, and I was fully aware, but I was all shocked (coz I was on the edge of a cliff about to fall) so I woke up but I was all sweaty and I actually had a physical feeling in my feet they where on a cliff edge when I woke up and I jumped up in my bed. It happened a few times so I suppose thats how I became aware, and I could have done things like this loads of times but not remembered, I guess.

Anyway, this stuff is all amazing and I am gonna learn it!

Oh yea, the tutorials are great I personally think that if you are new, you shouldn't try to WILD for a while. But seeing as you've had a couple of lucids before, go for it!!

Just make sure you read this before doing FILD http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=64325

OK, I'll look at WILD and DEILD to see what looks best for me. I like the sound of this:

Um, I think that someone who uses FILD technique would become lucid no matter what now, DEILD is never miss. Maybe it should be added as a variation within the DEILD tutorial itself.

It's still a fairly new technique, but it worked pretty good. Try it out. Actually had my longest LD yet from it.

I dunno, I'm pretty skeptical of it. It's basically a VILD, and you confirm the fact that you've been successful by actually materializing things and then grabbing them with your dream hands... I don't like focusing too much on my own body in lucids, as that tends to make me think of my real body and wake up

I tried the Quick Grab thing earlier today a few hours after I woke up coz I read you are still in the REM cycle but I couldnt do it.

I think its because: 1) I may have left it to late 2) there was too much light 3) I was thinking about it too much so I couldnt relax properly.

You are supposed to sleep for 4-6 hours, then try it right after waking up.. Waiting for hours after waking up will not work.

      Welcome to the boards btw

Yeah, it said you need to have to be in REM cycles and I read somewhere else your REM cycles last a long time after you wake up and someone managed to have a lucid dream in school, thats the only reason I tried... The funny thing is, it almost worked! I felt like I was wobbling around, like I was in a boat, and I had wave patterns in my head (think PS3 background)!

      Thanks!

      Hello, and welcome to dreamviews.

I would certainly recommend DEILD myself, I've had great success with that method, I even wrote a tutorial myself on it http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ighlight=deild

FILD is a good method too, I havn't tryed it much, but when I did it brought good results, did it twice in a row my first time.

To lucid dream is my real test

      Thanks!

I had a look at DEILD and it certainly looks interesting, I like the look of the water method, I might actually try it tonight and the fast grab thing in the morning!

Great, good luck with it, don't stop just because you were not able to have a lucid dream for awhile.

Especially when one of the unique things about a DeLorean is that it's stainless steel and not painted to begin with. Why would you paint it? That just seems so wrong.

People did paint them because they liked the look better.

Another thing about it is just the car itself, its very unique.

People say it looks like a Lotus Esprit but I can only see a few very vague similarities.

FILDs are not accepted by the DV staff as a proper technique anymore, but it's basically a DEILD and that's what you should work on.

However, if you've never induced an LD before purposely, I might recommend WBTB + MILD instead. It's got a very high success rate.

      Thanks!

I will read over it and try it tonight, the best way I think is to try many methods and see what works best for me, if this works well and its good for beginners I'll do it for a bit, but I wanna try DEILD after as its easier, faster and almost always successful as I have read.
