If you're remembering your dreams and keeping a dream journal, you are almost there. For a lot of people, dream recall can be the hardest part.

I advocate a multi-angled approach. Increase your awareness during the day by using Reality Checks and living 'in the moment'. Increase your awareness while you sleep by waking up multiple times during the night to remind yourself you're dreaming.

Basically, for a beginner, I would suggest Reality Checks (RC) and a Wake Back To Bed (WBTB)/ Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD) combo.

Ok thanks but i would also like to ask
Reality checks, are they 100% based on what most appears in your journal
and waking up during the night, how many times a night will i need to do this?

For starters, do it for just once.If you do 2 or 3 times, it really messes your sleeping if you are not used to it.

I'm still a newbie. I've only had 2 lucid dreams. The easiest technique for me was (and still is) DEILD, I guess that's because DEILD's the only technique I've been really concentrating on, alongside with WILD. And my second lucid dream was a DILD, even though I didn't plan on getting a lucid dream that night, and especially not a DILD.

Anyway, I just woke up in the morning, opened my eyes, remembered I should play dead, and so I did. Getting into the actual lucid dream took me about 30 seconds from there on.

And I managed to get some superpowers in my second lucid dream!

Check out the tutorial section, in there there is a list of all of the most effective lucid dreaming induction techniques. I recommend WBTB for a newbie.
