Hi, My name is Tim and I am 20 years old. I live in Boston, Massachusetts.

When I was a child, I would have reoccurring nightmares of criminals breaking into my house and killing my parents right in front of my eyes, while I sit there in the dark helpless.

To calm myself before sleep, I would repeat to myself every night that if I pinched myself and it didn't hurt, then there was no reason to be scared, because it was a dream. I never kept a dream journal.

After years of using the same method to calm myself, it became my trigger to reality. The trigger that would set off my conscious mind while in a dream. Over the years I've taught myself how to control my dreams, I relax and take things slowly.

I've never met anyone who had the same ability as me, so I always thought I had some type of psychological problem. I have about 1 lucid dream a week.

For anyone whose interested in hearing from someone who discovered this technique without any knowledge of it before hand, I'm going to start making logs of all my lucid dreams and how exactly I prepared for them.

Once you can master a lucid dream, you become limitless and you can do anything you want or can imagine.
