Want to make sure im doing stuff right

Well, it's 10AM and I have just awoke from my second night recalling my dreams. I remember four last night, bringing my overall total to five. Seeing as I rarley had dreams before I found out about all this, and I have had five in two days, I can conclude that I am on the right track. However, I have some questions...

This is what I wrote for one of the dreams (my dreams are really bizarre)

It was hometime at school and I somehow thought I had to stay and we all went to he hall for a test. Weirdly I didn't do the test we sa in a line of chairs wi9th TV's infront of us. I went to look fore the transformers movie but in the cupboard all I found is pisstake versions (like disaster movie, epic movie ect). Unsuccessful. I returned to the hall place thingy which had now transformed to a floating sort of base with the same chairs and TV idea and someone offered to watch a movie with me, and I think the movie was Predator.

Ok, did I write out my DJ correctly? Is it too less detailed, too detailed or what? I want to make sure that im doing it right is all.

Also, REM sleep. They say it gets longer with each cycle the longer you are asleep. I woke up at 1:30 this morning to write down two dreams that I had - then I was straight back to sleep. Does this return the cycle to zero or does it continue it on again?

      Thanks,

Dont walk behind me, I may not lead. Dont walk infront, I may not follow. Walk beside me and be my friend.

As long as you can fall asleep after writing in your DJ, you can go as detailed as you want.

Looks like you're recall is getting better, already. Write in your journal whatever you feel to be the most helpful information. It doesn't have to be a narrative that makes sense, because dreams often don't make sense. Be sure to try and remember your emotions and all your senses.

Waking up in the middle of the night to write down dreams does not restart your sleep/REM cycles. Check out the Wake Back To Bed tutorial to see how you can take advantage of this:

Right stuff? Wrong stuff? Is there a difference?...I don't LD by the right stuff because most would say it won't work but I still have them quite often so it's up to your mind which way is most 'agreeable'.
