      Cool Hypanic Jerk ????

Ok so i started LDing not yesterday but the day before... my first day knowing about it and i some how managed to have 2 DILD's, and 6 normal dreams

      None last night though, But!

i attempted to WILD straight to bed instead of a WBTB
And im not sure if it worked or not because i never tryed to move my body, BUT i felt my body jerk, which woke me up.... then i forgot what i was doing and fell back to sleep , anyways i didnt feel any of the simptoms of SP
and i know some people dont, and ive completly forgot what i was talking about lmao... sorry. ah yes

When i sleep i see like, a white flash, a few times EVERY night, is this normal? or halucinate of a MILD???? because im never sure, i just open my eyes and close them again, im not actually sure weather im awake or asleep either. i suppose i should test it the next time?

Yep, that jerk that happened right as you fell asleep (or almost fell asleep) was a hypnic jerk.

The white flash could be hypnagogic imagry (HI). HI happens in that weird state between asleep and dreaming. If you are actually asleep, it is probably a dream, maybe a non-REM dream.

You can't go into a WILD at night, you don't dream then.

You do dream... you just dont remember most of them because of the stages of sleep you will forget, BUT you can dream the moment you fall asleep, but you have about 8 dreams a night, each dream erased on new dream, so its kinda wierd but as fror the HI it would be quite explainable.

      Also....

Ive only been doing LD'ing for about a week, ive had 2 DILDS & 1 WILD already, i think im doing pretty well, i catch on quite fast.

Im trying to help my self remember to do regular RC's im going to buy a watch and set it to go off every hour for 5 days straight, then it should be programmed enough into me to do this afterwards, even in dreams.

That's perfectly true. But non-REM dreams can't be lucid.

I've had many non-rem dreams where I was aware that I was dreaming. Even though I lacked a body and the dreams consisted of repeating images, sounds, emotions, etc I knew I was dreaming. Kind of a weird feeling, but usually very peaceful. I remembered them because I woke up immediatly after the dream and then wrote them down.

Yep, big correction about the non-REM dreams...
      1) They're uncommon
      2) You can be lucid in them, and they're very unusual ... tibetan monks claim to be able to do this at will
