      Newbie here!

Hey, I'm Britt, and I have very lucid dreams.

But one thing is bothering me. Lately, there's been a recurring figure in my dreams. No matter what is going on, there's this guy, middle age, white, wrapping a baby boy in a tight bundle in his arms. That's all he does.

Any idea what it could mean?

Welcome to the forum. I've always personally believed that interpreting dreams is something best left to the first-hand dreamer. If you're new to lucid dreaming, then it would be good to aspire toward becoming lucid and confronting this figure in your dream.

Could be a dream guide, a character that has intimate knowledge of your dream world. Next time you see him, confront him, ask him who is is and what he wants. It could also be your brain trying to tell you something. Most dreams are meaningless, but recurring ones usually have a deep seeded meaning behind them.

Sorry ninja, but I do not believe so much that it could be a dream guide. It just seems to0 spiritual. To an extent, it could be your brain chanelling it into a sort of avatar, to make it easier to understand. I myself am new here, joined about 2 minutes ago. I am not new to lucid dreaming, I just came here looking for ways to increase how often it happens to me. Sorry if that was off-topic. To answer your question, the man holding the baby probably is your brain trying to tell you something. Maybe you have been wanting to get married and start a family, but haven't had time. Maybe you are looking for somebody to protect because you feel scared. Dreams are so loose it is often hard to tell.
