I just found this site surfing. I have been lucid dreaming for a long time. I just didn't know what it was called. I have flown almost every night of my life.

I've had nightmares and night terrors since I was a kid. I made the decision to take control as much as possible. I just started thinking during the day and as I was falling asleep that I would know I was dreaming in the dream. It comes in handy when I'm dreaming that I'm about to be mugged or harmed in some way. I just fly away. I'll have to really think about how I enter into that state, because it just sort of happens. Sometimes if your try too hard to make something happen it doesn't happen. Just sort of LET it happen.
