Hey blackcross, good to talk to you again
I think the best route is to start a dream journal (and build up dream recall), figure out some dream signs, and start reality checking. This will make you more aware overall in your dreams and maybe cause you to realize you are dreaming, may randomly happen to give you lucidity, and during the day will get you to think a lot about lucid dreaming.
Also, read about the DEILD technique and try to figure out some rough REM periods for WBTB/DEILDs. At the least, read about DEILDs so that when you wake up from your next lucid, you have the opportunity to try to get back into it. I'd recommend also reading about dream stabilization, since early lucids sometimes are short if you get too excited!
Have you ever had a lucid dream before?
Starting a personal list of dream goals is also a great idea to keep you motivated, positive, expectant, and to sort of let your imagination run wild It also helps so that when you do become lucid, you have an idea of what to do right off the bat
