      Hello everyone

hello everyone i am just writing this so i can say ive made my first official post on the site hehe. im totally new to this and i look forward to learning more about LDs and how to attain them as i research more and more. i have started to try to recall my dreams, and today bought a diary to keep track of my dreams in. i shall leave it by my bedside so i can write in it as soon as i wake up. just wanted to say hello to everyone and how exited i am to start on this journey of self awakening (sorry if that sounded cheesy but i really beleive it is) well just wanted to say hi. keep dreaming everyone... Welcome to Dream Views!

The dream journal is the best way to start your dream journey. It helps develop dream recall and overall memory length really. Be patient with everything and it will all come to you.

      Hope to see you around.

Oh don't worry about where you are posting, I'm just trying to keep it a little organised and may seem a little pedantic in the ways of doing so.. there's just a lot of topics so I hope you understand.

Just check the Adoptions forum for whoever you would like to adopt you or just post yourself up and your profile, what you're looking for, etc. and I'm sure you will get a prompt response or at least some help from the great Dream Guide team.

A good site to start at is www.ld4all.com, I find the core site (sans forum) is more easy going than this one, which frankly I haven't bothered reading in full.

thanks to both of you. i shall visit the site. can lucid dreams happen if you go for a nap or does it only happen when you go to bed at the end of the day? i suppose im asking could you take a nap (if you were experienced enough) for the sole purpose of LDing? or is it just a luxary to experience while you recharge your batteries for the next day?

Yes it is entirely possible to have LD's during a nap, alot of people report having them frequently during naps. Dr. La Berge of whatever his name is, uses naps all the time to induce LD's.
If you would like to try, when you have a free moorning you can just go back to sleep after aking up. do this a few times and you might get alot of dreams, hopefully some lucid!!
      n00bs i love you
