Talking First lucid dream and false awakening!

This morning after my chemistry final I took a nap... and had my first lucid dream! In the dream, I suddenly thought, "Wait a minute... I'm dreaming!" and confirmed it with a breathe-through-nose RC. I walked over to a group of friends and said, "Guess what? I'm dreaming!" They just laughed at me condescendingly. I made a feeble attempt at levitating, and then experienced my first false awakening before actually waking up.

The bad news: It was a pretty low-level LD. Despite being aware that I was dreaming, everything still felt hazy, like I was in a non-lucid, and I didn't feel like I was seeing with my waking eyes (if you know what I mean).

The good news: It was a pretty low-level LD. Things can only get better!

      Congrats!
I was reading just last night that LD's are more likely to happen while napping rather then your normal sleep patern. They called it the Nap Affect.

^I'd tend to agree but more because they (Dream Characters) are unable to answer certain questions or react to certain things... Kind of like digital clocks and light switches. There are just some bizarre barriors that you run into.

Congrats tho! I remember my first one and how much it changed me... But that was before I even knew what a Lucid Dream was.
