      fizzing pressure in my head

For a while I was getting freaked out because I would wake with this fizzing pressure in my head like It was going to pop.

Then, once I got back into lucid dreaming, I tried my first wild attempt.
This was at night when I went to bed (which I now know is a bit pointless).

But after a few hours I think I nearly got into SP. I felt the "wave" I got an erection, I felt my heart beat quicken, and my breathing seemed like it was difficult (too shallow). The very last thing I felt was very much like that fizzing in the head.

Then I swallowed and blew it!

So its made me wonder if what had happened previously was me snapping awake just as I was falling asleep.

      What do you reckon guys?

hey, i made this its own topic because it is a different question. I want both of you to get answers and not get ignored.

This is common ( I'm not sure about the pressure in your head though) You just have to try to get yourself to calm down, or ride it out. It is hard, but it is passable.

I think these sensations you're experiencing are the effects of consciously making that transition from wakefulness to sleep and are different from entering SP. Im pretty sure (not %100, after reading through that other thread you started) that we only enter SP (REM atonia) during REM sleep which is well after just going to bed.
I, too, have experienced these sensations of falling asleep after unintentionally doing a WILD w/o prior sleep, and also thought that I was entering SP. But I now know that that's not the case.
