I don't really have a good response for this, but I'm letting you know I'm in the same boat. I just tried those beats for the first time last night too, they actualy did help me relax and fall asleep though. |

Hi everyone! |

I don't really have a good response for this, but I'm letting you know I'm in the same boat. I just tried those beats for the first time last night too, they actualy did help me relax and fall asleep though. |

That's good advice, especially the breathing/visualizing. I think I respond well to things like the beats and guided meditations (as long as I like the person's voice!), so I was wondering if there's any such thing as a guided lucid dream and if there is, has anyone had results with them. |

If you don't mind popping pills, melatonin should work. It worked for my friend, and he has frequent LDs... Lucky him... |

Thanks guys. There's so much great advice here! |

How did those tips go with helping you fall asleep? |

I'm surprised how well it's working, actually! When I want to sleep now I just listen to some of the stuff I downloaded lately (binaural/LaBerge/deep relaxation), and it works in about 30 minutes. Last night I even managed to get a couple of seconds of lucidity in a dream (immediately after I'd gone back into an interrupted sleep) before the excitement of it promptly woke me up again! Still, it's progress - and I think there was something about that interrupted sleep that was the key to it, so I'm thinking I should work more on pulling myself back from the brink of sleep and blurring that line between waking and sleeping. |
