01) Yes. Things I worry about, and things I do or see often make it into my dreams. I expect that.
02) No. The content of my dreams follows the same pattern. If my sleep schedule is altered by this new place, often my recall is altered, but not the content.
03) No. I rely on my own logic to interpret dreams. My dream interpretations are logical. If I see trees of broccoli, purple clouds blustering downwards, and my friends are arguing about underage drinking, I will ignore the absurdities of the surroundings and focus on the situation. In this case, I'd deduce that I feel stressed about my friends' underage drinking, and should probably tell them my opinion.
04) Yes. A handful of them.
05) No. I used to make up stories all the time. I remember my first lie. Did they come from my imaginary friends? No, though they did inspire. My reflection friends gave me the idea of parallel universes. My shadow friends inspired many stories of superpowers.
06) Yes. Storytelling has greatly contributed to the evolution of human culture and development of knowledge. Language, ultimately, makes us human.
07) Yes. I have made dreams into stories, even in grade school.
08) Plot. It has to be thought-provoking, and express an often masked side of human nature.
