Well depends on what you mean. I had many lucid dreams before I knew what lucid dreams even were. I had many dreams where I knew I was dreaming, however I never knew I could control myself or my dreams.

Once I learned about lucid dreams though, I had one about a day or two later, then another a day after that. I guess I am one of the lucky ones who naturally have lucid dreams. However my recall could be a whole lot better. I have only gotten to the point where I can remember and record 3 dreams a night. However I can't vividly remember them

three days after I made an account I have my first lucid. it wasn't very long, but when I woke up, I had the most excited feeling that I don't think I've ever felt before. I felt so accomplished. I look forward to going to sleep every night so I can have more and more. I've had four total in a month since I've joined. I'm just starting to get the hang of it.

      7 months.

I found DV in Feb of '06, had my 1st LD in Aug. '06, and then joined DV on my 15th birthday in Dec. '06.

Never still trying.. i think it's been 10 months with no success. The only thing i can say it has helped me with my recall and had some vibrations and HH here and there.

i was obsessively doing RC's and i mean OBSESSIVELY. and got one on the first night. althought it was dogy and lasted like 5 seconds it was still an LD.

Such a shame this has to end, things are out of his command.

I got the same deal as Sotik because I saw lots of lucid dreams a long before I knew they were called that or even scientifically studied. So very hard to answer.

But once I found information about it, I have found more ways to achieve LDs and other nice things too
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

I'm one of those 'naturals' too...the sort of people who were lucid dreaming before they knew it was anything special or even had a name. I've only been playing around with the manipulation of dreams for a little more than two years now (that is, actually controlling the dream once I attained lucidity, instead of just allowing it to continue how it would or terminate it if it was a nightmare), but in that time I've learned how to fly and have even had a few shared dreams - if you choose to believe in that sort of thing.

      I had semi-lucids as a nipper.
I started having some clear Lucids, before I even knew what they were called, when I was at college about 15 years ago. Then I found Laberges book.

Since then its waxed and waned. I went through a couple of periods of keeping a DJ etc, the last time being 2003ish.

This latest expedition it took about a week for my first lucid.
      Lucid Dreams:-
      MILD/DILD: 79
      WILD: 13
      DEILD:13
