Thread: What's VILD?

Visually Incubated Lucid Dream

Some people (myself included) also use "VILD" to refer to a Visualization Induced Lucid Dream... basically a WILD where you visualize something during the falling-asleep process. Simply because it is easier to type out "VILD" than it is to type out "A WILD where I visualized my mom in the kitchen pulling a tray of freshly baked cookies out of the oven." And because, since this is simply a WILD, there isn't really a need to have a "VILD" also. For example, I tend to visualize the dream I was just in during a DEILD. But I'm not going to run around calling it a V-DEILD or anything like that.

Techniques like "MFG" or Arby's VILD tutorial or I H8 Reality's method. Some people call it a V-WILD, too.

Neither of these is 'officially recognized' by Dreamviews, though, so you won't find anything about them in the Database section of the tutorials.
