      It sounds like tactile hypnagogic hallucinations. I don't get them personally, but from what I've read that means you are very close to WILDing. I guess just try to ignore it and realize it is all in your head.

      I just read up on that. That is creepy. Maybe it is, but if it is not I will look like I am crazy sitting up in bed!

      I get the same thing. Your real body is probably not moving. It is more likely that you are just hallucinating the feeling of your body moving. Remember, when you start to enter a dream, your awareness will be in a new dream body. This transition can be weird, and often involves hallucinations of body distortions, movement, and other tactile wackiness.

      You can try to induce your own tactile hallucinations, so you feel more in control and less surprised. When you know you are close, start imagining yourself floating, spinning, bouncing, or sinking. Whatever seems easiest. You could even involve this in an imagined dream scenario, like floating on ocean waves, or running down your street.

      You are really really close. Now all you have to do is the final transition to leave the real world behind, and enter the dream world. Or, in your case, leave your real body behind, and enter your dream body. Don't get frustrated if it takes a few attempts. You are super close, but this final transition can be tricky and take some practice.

      When will I know the time? I don't get the audio hh, just the beeping.? Do I open my eyes? ( then I will get those frightening images probably ) Most importantly, how do I transition? I read up on it in the tutorials but I didn't understand.

      probably a hallucination because you're thinking about it. it could also be a hyponogogic jerk, common if you are uncomfortable. even while asleep your body checks its comfort level, if it's uncomfortable it rolls you over. this is why its possible to fall asleep on your side and wake up on your back (happens to me all the time)

      It is hard to say, because by the time you are asleep enough to transition, you are most likely already having some bizarre hallucinations or disorientation. They can be different for everyone, and different for every WILD. People will tell you all kinds of different tricks.

      Basically, they are all ways of getting yourself involved with the dream, so the fleeting hallucination will take over into a full dream. In your case, you are feeling tactile sensations. For that reason, I would suggest using some sort of tactile visualization. Imagine the feeling of something familiar that engages your sense of touch.

      Try to go with whatever hallucination you are already having. For example, if you feel a sensation of movement and speed, try to turn it into a visualization of sliding down a slide. If you feel your legs moving, imagine yourself running, feeling the earth below you. If your mind is pretty much blank, you can create something simple, like standing in your own house, running your hands over something familiar.

      It is best to chose things you are familiar with, so you are remembering instead of visualizing. It is much easier that way.
