Last night, I decided I was going to have a lucid dream. I was in bed, but my mind was very much awake. I got in one position, and I made sure to not move, despite the fact that all of my limbs felt like they had no circulation (as I know this is a side effect of sleep paralysis), and my mouth was getting very dry. Once before had I almost achieved an LD straight from going to bed, but when I began to get very vivid images in my head, I made the mistake of trying to push them out. This time, I couldn't really get any vivid images. When I first closed my eyes and stopped moving, it was about 12:05 AM. After a while, I had gotten nowhere, and my throat was very ticklish, so I decided to just give up and move. As soon as I did, I felt a rush of circulation to my limbs, but my arms still felt a bit dead. The time was about 12:35 AM. I spent a good half hour completely and absolutely motionless, but I couldn't fall asleep. Any ideas about what I did wrong? I tried my best to keep my breathing slow and regular, and at points I started to see some images, but nothing too clear or specific. Overall, I didn't really get anywhere. EDIT: I just remembered, I also did not experience the falling sensation that I experienced the other time, as I mentioned above and described in my other topic a while ago. I didn't even get to that point.
Thoughts? Sorry this was so long, and thanks for reading.
