I don't think it would be any different than sleep walking during normal dreams... |

hello everybody, i'm very intrigued in lucid dreaming. I am still new and today I am beginning to start, and keep a journal to begin. I'm wondering however can lucid dreaming lead to sleep walking, i am very worried about that. May someone clarify this for me? |

Bollocks.
so if i wake up "thinking" im lucid dreaming and walk around while potentially harming myself from doing something stupid, will i know im awake once i practice lucid dreaming so i am not sleep walking? and in a lucid dreaming ill know for sure im dreaming? |
|
Well, being lucid means knowing you are dreaming... |

Bollocks.
Actually, sleep walking occurs in the earlier stages of sleep, not REM sleep. So REM atonia failing to kick in (RMD) would not cause you to sleepwalk, just to thrash around and act our your dreams. They sound similar on the surface but they are different. |

I've never heard of such a thing. Do you have a reason to worry about it happening? |
|
No, it can't lead to sleepwalking. In fact, sleepwalking doesn't happen during your dreams. |
|
one time i would have ended up sleepwalking when i was lucid if i hadnt felt my real body's hand moving at the same time as my dream hand, i ended up waking up because i was so confused. but i was half asleep, so im not sure about being fully in a deep sleep. |
