Hiya i have a few questions

I can't find the answer to this question anywhere but here it goes...

How real does a lucid dream feel?

Is it a hazy experience or does it feel like real life?

I heard people talking about sleeping and hearing sounds, i always here a TV or some kind of static (even when my fingers are in my ears) what does this mean if anything!

I usually meditate a few nights a week and a few years back i was sitting there losing feeling in my body then i feel like i was vibrating kinda like i was having a fit i even heard huming noises what does this mean?

I always dream in colour, and when i dream it feels like im viewing the dream in a 3rd person perspective kinda like im watching a movie, does this have any meaning?

Sorry for the random questions but this community seems nice so im guessing they wouldn't mind my randomness

The two I've had felt like regular dreams, other than being very joyful because I was flying.

I've read that vibrating and humming can be the onset of an OBE (Out-of-Body-Experience), which is related but different than a LD.

I'm no expert, but I've been doing a lot of reading in the last couple of months. I had my first LD about 8 years ago, and the second a year ago. I'm doing the affirmations when drowsy and other things and hope to have another soon.

Hey Shanir. Lucid dreaming feels and looks just like real life. It is pretty amazing.
I have no idea what the sounds are. Sounds when you are trying to fall asleep? It might be sleep paralysis. I have no knowledge on meditating. 3rd person dreaming is common, I don't think it has a meaning, it's just how you are viewing the dream.

I agree with that statement. However, even though it felt completely real while inside the dream, once I awoke, it seemed a little less real. Is that normal?
You are getting sleepy. Very, very sleepy...

This will vary from lucid to lucid, but they can be very hazy, or they can feel like real life. They can even seem more real than real life.

When you go to sleep, the stage where you are falling asleep is called hypnagogia. While you're in this stage your mind will produce hallucinations of various kinds. They can be visual hallucinations where you see things, they can be auditory hallucinations where you hear things, or they can be tactile hallucinations where you feel like you are sinking or being pulled from your bed or vibrating etc.

It sounds like your body was very close to falling asleep. If you continue from there you could very well end up with SP (Sleep Paralysis) or a WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream).

Pretty much everyone has some dreams in 3rd person. Some more than others. I don't think there's any real meaning to it.

Yes. And that goes for any memory, dream based or not. Think about it. The moment is always more real then the memory of it.

      Hey Shanir! Welcome to DV!
This is a good question, and one quiet a few people ask. In my experience, a lucid dream can really vary in how real it feels, just as a regular dream can. Sometimes they will be a little hazy, sometimes you will feel 2000% in the moment. One benefit of a lucid dream is that you can control your own behavior in the dream, so during a lucid dream you can stop and focus on your environment to make it EVEN clearer than it already is. Lots of people talk about their lucids being just as real as RL, or even "hyper-real". So, as long as you put in the effort to stabilize your dreams, even a non-vivid lucid can be made to be very realistic.
