These sound like hypnagogic hallucinations They are very normal, nothing to be worried about. If you are learning the WILD technique, they can serve as a benchmark in that most people fall asleep before they experience these hallucinations, so it means you're doing a good job of keeping awake. Not everyone gets them, but since you do you maybe be able to use them to your advantage
