      A Good Sign At A Bad Time!

      This morning, after waking up to move my car so as to not get a parking ticket (par for the course on weekdays), I went back to sleep, and had the first dream I could recall of this particular "sleep shift".

      I was at a campaign rally (candidate will remain unnamed) and the candidate was singing some kind of "We will overcome" or "We'll perservere" or "We ain't givin' up" song. Not the greatest singer in the world, but had a lot of passion.

      Anyway, I looked at all the signs, and noticed the text was backward-printed, and upside-down in some cases. AHA! My dream-self noticed this was odd, and I started to question the nature of my situation.

      "Hey, wait a minute! Am I drea--" BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

      Alarm woke me up. Time for work.

      Cool that I was about to RC and go lucid, but ARG! for the timing!

      Hehe. What a bad luck. Next time your in a LD and hear your alarm clock go off, make your nearest hand, from inside the dream, destroy the clock... Just dont destroy the room.

      oh man, i would totally KILL myself if that happened to me!
      i feel for you man, that must have been frustrating eh?
      but its a very good sign that you have your first lucid dream coming up. Dont give up trying, you are SO close now!

      That happened to me this morning, except I had just gone into the lucidity and was moving my computer mouse cursor with my mind and clicking on stuff Damn jobs!
      In this crazy world if they don't consider you mad, then you have no confirmation of your own sanity, do you?
      Imagine if this crazy world thought you were sane?! Oh my God, worst nightmare!

      That sucks! If you have a few minutes and just want to hit Snooze you can try the dream re-entry technique and see if that works at that time... Only if you have time, though.

      Hehe...you posted on my other (2 days 2 dreams) thread - this was almost my 4th LD this week!

      It WAS frustrating, but in a good way.

      well you almost had an LD after already having one so soon, you are lucky to be a natural at it.

      hell yeah your a natural, 3 LDs within the first WEEK!

      it normally took the best of us a month or so to get a first LD.
