      Smile Cue the Intros!

Hi everyone, my name's Nikki! I'm 16 and live far away in the scary reaches of New England.

I learned about lucid dreaming maybe a year ago when a friend was talking about it. I haven't thought about since then because I moved and all this other crap. But now I'm ready because...lucid dreaming looks way too cool to pass up =)

It would be super-duper if anyone has any tips or whatnot for a wee 'ol beginner like me. Thanks!

Also, be sure to keep a Dream Journal with all your dreams in it to improve your Dream Recall (What good is a Lucid Dream if you don't remember it?) You can posts your dreams here if you'd like: http://dreamviews.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=26

      Hi ^.^

I guess the only advice I have to give is to be patient! I gave up lucid dreaming at first because I wasn't getting immediate results, but it takes practice. Make sure your recall is excellent before you attempt to lucid dream, and don't give up on any certain technique until you've practiced it multiple times.

Thanks everyone. Oh, yea, I am keeping a journal (currently -almost- emtpy) Patience is not one of my virtues, but I'll try my best =)

      Gas-Mask, good luck!
