DEILD, MILD and FILD require waking up, but not for very long. That's all I can suggest. And of course you could WILD in the afternoon. |

With waking up in the middle of the night, it doesn't have to be to an alarm clock. If you can train yourself to get up after you wake up naturally during the night, that would work as well. At the same time, keep in mind that waking yourself up is only one part of the process and not always necessary, depending on the person. |

As long as you learn how to reality check properly, you should be able to have some very nice DILDs and to control them, just takes a little practice but doesn't require messing around with your sleep schedule at all. |

Classic DILD, MILD, and possibly DEILD for when you naturally wake up out of dreams. |

If you ever get a chance to sleep in on a lazy weekend, go for some DEILDs. They can be really mindbending and fun. Other than that, try reality checks and logging dream signs as other people have already suggested. |
