Arrow Hello- dreams driving my crazy and seek meaning that is not found in dictionary.Give it some thought

First I want to start off saying how great this forum has been with info regarding basic and lucid dreaming!

I’m not sure I have came to the right place but this has been driving my crazy. I woke up and went to the book store and looked at 5-6 dream books trying to get some kind of meaning out of this and came up with nothing. I then search the net and found this site, read about lucid dreaming (which by the way seems like something I will try) and here I am.

I’ll get right to it. I have been having dreams the last few weeks about 2 x-girlfriends which at first didn’t seem to be a big deal. These dreams have come and go in these 1-2 week periods in the last year or so. Until the dreams repeated themselves and these girlfriends I was involved with a long time ago. They were 6 ½ and 4 ½ years ago. Last night and the night before I had repeated dreams of the girlfriend 6 ½ years go. These dreams were not sexual but seemed pretty clear (the facial recognition) even though I haven’t even seen or talked to her in 4+ years. They were something I would just call an “inter-actional” dream.

The only thing I can come up with is when I wake up it makes me remember (with both relationships) what it was like to share such a close relationship and bond with someone. The crazy part is I was pretty young back when these relationships evolved and didn’t think I knew what love and or companionship was.

None the less I guess I am just craving such a relationship as I had with either of them because since then I have not met anyone that can compare. I have been in relationships since, sure, but I feel like they are just average and they don’t have that extra spark.

      Dream on…

      Welcome to the forums banshee!

I don't think you will be getting many answers in this part of the forums. Why not head off to the Dream Interpritation section of the forums and post it there? Good luck.

You should also look into learning to lucid dream, there's nothing like interpreting a dream while you are still in it and able to ask the things in your dream what they mean
