      Smile How To Be Aware

      I want to learn how to be very aware during my waking and deaming life to be more aware and recognize that i am dreaming. I already do things like try not to zone out, look at my surroundings, and recognize when things like music come on or when im in a different setting, like another room. This is just basic. Does anyone have anything else to add or any other tips on how to be aware?

      Well i find it sometimes helpful to "zone out" cause when i do in dreams, thats what makes me lucid alot of times. Basically just perform RC's and seriously ask yourself through the day anytime the suspicion arises "am i dreaming?" Those are some things i do to increase my DILD's

      I like to hold my awareness in a specific place throughout the day. For example, move your attention to the back of your head, and imagine your awareness originating from this spot. Even just being aware of "where" your consciousness is currently residing can help. Is it in your eyes while you watch TV? In the computer screen while you work? In your hands while you type?
