      General Question's

Hello, this is my first post on DV(really cool forum btw). im very new to lucid dreaming but i have read up quite a bit of it in the past few days and im going to attempt to have one tonight or tommaorw im not sure yet. i just had a few questions before i try

Is the only way to have a WILD by setting your alarm clock to wake you up before REM?

Are you supposed to do the things like counting and all that when you first lay down or do you wait till the alarm clock wakes you up, then do it?

how do you know when your body is paralyzed? i think i would probably know this if i just tried to LD but it would be nice to know what it feels like so i know when im ready to move to the next step

Hopefully someone could help me with this
      Thank you in advance

      welcome man

Waking up before REM starts is not the only way to WILD, but trust me it is soooooooo much easier if you do it before REM cycle. I still have not been able to WILD without being in my REM cycle.

Again you dong have to count or anything before going to sleep if you're planning on waking up before ur REM starts. Get about 4-6 hours of sleep first then wake up and try to WILD. During this time its very easy for both you mind and body to fall asleep so counting is a useful anchor to keep you mind awake while your body falls asleep.

SP differs for all people. It can be harsh for some people (dont get discouraged) while easy for others. So that one, you're gona have to try on your own.

      good luck

It is possible to WILD without setting your alarm clock, even.
This is a good video. Tim explains things very well
