It is a similar question to asking someone if they are happier after their vacation. Sure their life is still the same when they return, but they have all the great memories of the fun they had.

of course Lucid Dreaming makes me happy, why else would I try so hard to learn how? Shift gave good examples of why it's so fun. Lucid Dreaming is a blast, and sometimes it's fun when someone says something like "I wish I could fly! I wonder what it would be like" and, even though I can't tell anyone, I know what it feels like. And achieving your "lucid goals" is fun too. Man the first time I ever realized I was dreaming... it was like an adrenaline rush just knowing I was dreaming.
