Hello all! Warning: Long-winded post from a newbie!

Okay. So I was introduced to lucid dreaming about say, 3 weeks ago. So far I've only had 3 lucid dreams.
Each one was right after waking up from regular sleep, followed by a nap. I think its called MILD?
I'm dying to try WILD soon, once I get better at the current type. The first time I dreamed was amazing,
I remembered to do reality checks, and then after some exploring the initial shock woke me up! >_<

The next time I found myself lucid, I made myself levitate, and now I'm hooked!
Inducing each one felt so overwhelming! My only problem was each time I felt myself
fading off I got excited and woke up out of it, but I only fell asleep naturally out of nowhere.
Though my dream recall is pretty good, I plan to start writing them down soon.

Oh yeah, I had a question! This might have something to do with it, but when I was in my dream
(first person mode) my limbs in 1 of my dreams felt like they were asleep/heavy I could barely move them.
While I was still somewhat awake (or I could have possibly been completely asleep, just dreaming about myself in bed).
Is this normal? I read something about sleep paralysis, but I don't know.
