hi! nothing fail-safe. However these long WILD's you are talking about are very rare, take a long time to master and require motivation. |

I'm thinking about trying a WILD tonight, but I'm kind of nervous about becoming lucid (my only 2 both lasted about 30 seconds) because I'm kind of nervous that if I want to get out of the dream, I won't be able to. This comes from a thing that someone wrote that I read about having hundreds of FA's and not being able to wake themselves up. Also watching Waking Life didn't help |

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
new goals: have more LD's than Shift[X]
10-15min LD [ X] Article: A day in the life of an LD-er
the "Mind V.S. Body" Induction technique
Everyman 2 LD's/ sleep schedule progress
Close your eyes for a momenr while dreaming and you should wake up. |

Thanks for the replies. |

As said before, forcing your eyes open will wake you. Good luck. :-) |

Being very tired or over-worked normally makes it much harder to wake up. I suggest going to bed at a decent time |

"Thus the stars wink upon the bloody stripes; and Liberty pulls down her cap upon her eyes, and owns oppression in its vilest aspect for her sister"
Last time I did that all I did was close my eyes as if asleep in the dream and wish to awake. |
