      Sleep Paralysis

      Hello everyone!
I'm SolvedSnake, and I joined this forum to share my experiences with you, and maybe learn how to do Lucid Dreaming and OOBEs.
Anyways. For about a year now I had a couple of Sleep Paralysis experiences.
I won't tell them all, instead I tell what I had today. I was just dreaming, and was totally unconscious, then I somehow managed to regain some conciousness, and I wanted to go Lucid Dreaming. So I first started to go trough a door while closed, and then my vision went away. Then I was like "Ah well looks like I'm awake, thats why it went away". But of course I was still dreaming, I was just stupid. So I closed my eyes and said "I want to dream". So my vision came back, and I wanted to go trough my wall, but then suddenly, a voice behind my back called for me. "You must obey me!" And I agreed! Then I was like "why did I agree?" "I don't want to obey anyone...". Then I woke up, and I couldn't move, and things in my room changed into scary figures. And I heard the typical SP noises. I said okay I'm gonna go with this. So I let it go louder and louder, but then suddenly I got too scared, and I tried to get out of it with panic. I was trying to scream, and push myself against the wall, and it succeded. I always get scared of those loud noises. Hopefully I can conquer my fear someday. Anyways that's it for my introduction.

When I'm trying to get out of SP, I wiggle my big toe. Panicing or thrashing only makes it worse.

I know, but I just can't stop panicing. I hate myself for that in the morning, but at that time, I just can't stop panicing.

Don't feel bad. If human beings could think straight while dreaming, this website wouldn't exist, right?

haha i had a sleep paralysis experience last night too. i woke up in the middle of the night and i couldn't move, and i actually remembered at that moment that i had read about the frightening hallucinations that came with SP (i read it on wikipedia a few months ago). right after i remembered this, i heard a super loud whooshing sound like wind was blowing real hard and i saw some type of shadow/phantom/ghost fly over me. that shit was weird.

A few mornings ago I started to wake up, but quickly realized I couldn't move or open my eyes. I started to panic, trying to force myself to get up. Next thing I knew I was walking down the hall in my apartment, hugging the walls as I moved because I felt really sluggish. Then I noticed all the furnishings were different and there was patterned wallpaper everwhere. It all had a seventies vibe. I started freaking out and thinking I was in my apartment, but in the wrong decade. I could hear someone in the other room whispering. Then I finally came out of it. I experience hypnagogic hallucinations on a pretty regular basis, but this was new experience for me.
